Que faire si je rencontre un chien ou un chat manifestement perdu ?
Ne tentez pas de l’attraper vous-même.
Vous devez contacter la mairie car il appartient au Maire et aux personnes habilitées, de contacter le service de fourrière.
Que faire si j’ai perdu mon animal ?
N’hésitez pas à contacter la société le Hameau Canin.
Une fois capturé
- L’animal est transporté à la fourrière située au siège social de la société.
- Une vérification est faite afin de savoir si l’animal est identifiable. Si oui, le propriétaire est averti au plus vite. Il devra alors s’acquitter des frais occasionnés (capture, pension et nourrissage de l’animal).
- Une annonce est également publiée sur le site internet de la société et sur les réseaux sociaux.
L’hébergement, l’entretien et la pension sont assurés pendant 8 jours ouvrés (délai franc préconisé par la loi). Ce délai est étendu par la société à 15 jours ouvrés pour les chiens, voir un mois si l’adoption tarde. Durant ce temps de garde, les animaux sont montrés à un vétérinaire agréé afin de s’assurer qu’ils ne présentent pas de danger (maladies transmissibles, agressivité etc…).
Lorsque l’identification n’est pas possible et/ou que personne ne vient les réclamer, ils peuvent être transférés soit en SPA ou en refuge. En tout dernier recours, l’euthanasie peut s’avérer malheureusement nécessaire.
